We’re both in individual boats travelling together but separately. We choose to be together but there’s nothing stopping either of us from leaving.

Codependent

We’re both in the same boat with one oar between us and we feel close. Problems arise when we get out of sync, or one of us gets tired. If we disagree on where we are going it can become a fight. As a matter of fact, which way are we going?

Why do people come for therapy?

Interdependent

We’re both in the same boat facing the same way. If we decide to work together the boat can go really fast. If one of us gets tired the other can take the strain. We feel like a team.
